This salad is simple to make! Your body will love and thank you for it!

It's loaded with all the good stuff your body needs to help support your skin & gut health. It will support your journey to clear skin! I use to struggle with acne for YEARS and although this salad isn't the quick fix, it will most definitely help support your body.

What if we change our mindset that longevity equates to consistency rather than the quick fix - jumping from one product, or assumed solution, to another? There's a reason that we might be 'jumping' from one thing to another rather than flowing through many of the solutions that are available to us at all times. I feel like this comes from patience and listening to what your body needs rather than what the world might be telling you what you may need (it's easy to get lost in the illusion), we're all finding our way!

Let's take quick moment to just take a look at these COLORS! Seesh!

This salad is vegan and raw! The whole foods and natural ingredients that you are eating is alive with plentiful of supportive enzymes to help your body reduce inflammation and support your digestive system. The raw cabbage is very nutritious and loaded with fiber to fuel your digestion. It's loaded with vitamins and supports detoxification in your stomach & colon. Apple cider vinegar will help your body lower your blood sugar and stay within your target range so your body can continue to heal and ease inflammation. Spikes in your blood sugar can cause more sebum on your skin that leads to acne. The organic acids in apple cider vinegar help your body kill acne causing bacteria. The niacin found in nutritional yeast will support your overall skin health!

I encourage you to purchase all organic ingredients and make sure you read your labels! It's important to make sure you are using good ingredients that truly make your recipe healthy.

In order for this recipe to work like medicine and do its job for your body, you won't want to consume any unnatural and synthetic ingredients. Stay clear from additives and preservatives that will wreak havoc in your body and will create an environment of toxicity rather than a healing environment. Try to consume organic in order to avoid consuming pesticides that will further increase inflammation in your body and increase the risk of neurological and reproductive issues.

Think of it like this!

Allow the ingredients to serve as a proper and strong foundation. Think of it like a blueprint for your body that is creating a roadmap to allow the nutrition to navigate through your body. This navigation will help provide your body with nourishment to where it needs to be provided!

I've mentioned some of my favorite products below under 'ingredients' and I've included links to some of my favorite products! I encourage you to support companies that are conscious and looking out for you!

YIELD: 3-4 Servings

PREP: 15 minutes

PREPARE: 15 minutes

  • Half a red cabbage

  • 6 sweet mini peppers

  • 1/4 red onion

  • 1/2 avocado

  • 1/2 cup raw fermented sauerkraut (Wild West Ferments,, is my favorite. They use 100% organic plant ingredients and most of it is locally grown in Central California. They ferment in ceramic crocks, never in plastic and their ingredients are always organic).

  • 2 tablespoon Organic Extra Virgin Olive Oil (extra virgin is the least processed form of olive oil, retaining its nutrients such as its levels of antioxidants and vitamins).

  • 2 tablespoon Siete Jalapeno Sauce (THIS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING! Welcome to your new favorite sauce - you will want to put it on absolutely everything you make). Heads up, this sauce is spicy!

  • 1 tablespoon hot sauce (evidently, I love spice and I'm obsessed with this habanero hot sauce from Erewhon)!

  • 1 teaspoon Sea Salt (I know that everyone's been on the celtic sea salt train lately, but I've been on the Maldon train).

  • 3 tablespoon Nutritional Yeast (nutritional yeast really does taste like cheese - it is AMAZING! I know this is a bit expensive, but guys... please don't purchase fortified nutritional yeast. Fortified means that it has added synthetic vitamins to boost its nutrient content. Non-fortified means it only contains the vitamins and minerals naturally produced by the yeast cells during growth.

  • 1 teaspoon paprika

  • 1 teaspoon curry seasoning

  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

  1. Chop your red cabbage, sweet peppers and red onions and put them in a bowl altogether.

  2. Mix in the olive oil, apple cider vinegar, siete sauce, hot sauce, sea salt, curry, black pepper, paprika, raw fermented sauerkraut and nutritional yeast. Mix in all the ingredients thoroughly!

  3. Slice your avocado and place it on top of your salad.

  4. Drizzle some olive oil, sea salt and black pepper over your avocados.

  • Make sure you purchase raw & fermented sauerkraut. You want to make sure you aren't purchasing sauerkraut that is cooked, otherwise you're putting the good bacteria at risk for being killed that live in your sauerkraut - you'll want these probiotics!

  • I love the spice, but if you don't you can opt out of using the Siete sauce and hot sauce! If you opt out, you could add some more olive oil or apple cider vinegar (or both)! It's just as satisfying!
